My name is Emma, I'm 21 and in January I passed my foundation exam. I was first introduced to radio in July 2007 and have since developed great interest in the hobby.
I got the idea for my call sign because I adore cats and have a cat called Meow Meows who can often be found sat in the shack watching me on the radio!

<---- What am I doing??
Well, here is your answer!! Every year I run charity race for Cancer Research UK called Race For Life.
Its a women only event and races take part all over the UK, taking part in this race helps to raise money for those affected by this common disease.
Taking part makes me feel such pride that I am lucky to be well enough and able to raise vital funds for those less fortunate then myself. However, these events cannot take place without sponsorship. If would like to sponsor me, any donation even the smallest really makes a real difference and would be hugely appreciated.
Remember, the donations do not go to me, they go directly to Cancer Research UK, you can donate via my online sponsorship page by clicking on the following link:
Thank you
